A Literary Extravaganza on the Hooghly On 15th September 2025, we celebrated the unveiling of our PUJA EDITION (UTSAV SANKHYA) of SERGEANTS MAGAZINE, our bi-annual Bengali literary magazine, on the scenic IRTP Jetty, amidst the gentle flow of the Hooghly River. The evening was a testament to the power of literature and the unwavering support of our patrons. We were honoured to have an illustrious gathering of renowned writers, authors, poets, and novelists, including Smt Debjani Basu Kumar, Smt Rupa Majumdar, Smt Chumki Chattopadhaya, Shri Saikat Mukhopadhaya, Thakur Radharamon Das, Dr Iva Das, Shri Pijush Ash, Smt Aditi Basu Roy, Dr Samudra Basu, Smt Susmeli Dutta, Shri Arghyo Bandyopadhaya, and Dr Partha Nath. Their presence made the evening truly unforgettable! The event was a unique blend of literature, music, and felicity, as we recognised and felicitated these literary stalwarts on a running launch on the Hooghly River. Our Magazine Committee, led by the General Secretary, showcased the creative prowess of our team, and we unveiled the PUJA EDITION copies, marking a significant milestone in our publication's journey. We're grateful to the companies and commercial firms that supported us with their valuable ad articles, helping us promote the magazine to new heights. The evening was a celebration of literature, creativity, and the human spirit – a memorable experience for all who attended. We're already looking forward to the next edition!
